Local company providing relief to those with hair loss due to cancer

Laurie EricksonLaurie Erickson runs a company out of North Bend, Washington, The Finest Accessories, who makes hair accessories sold at Nordstrom and Sak’s Fifth Avenue. A ministry of hope and encouragement has been borne out of one of her customer’s requests for a hair accessory for those who have lost their hair due to cancer. This could be helpful to those who have lost eyes due to cancer and also lost their hair through treatment. Many patients are affected by interocular melanoma, choroidal melanoma, retinoblastoma and other types of cancerous tumors. Read more about her response to this request in this Seattle Times article.
